Record every interaction between yourself and CPS. It is important to always know your rights.
In our opinion a CPS investigator is not allowed to barge into your home unless they have a warrant – you’re protected by the 4th Amendment. Here are just a few suggestions which are presented much thoroughly in the book: Do not allow CPS investigators into your home.-Ask the investigator exactly what the case is about.

- Do not admit to any prior wrongdoings which could incriminate you.
- Try not to contradict any statements that you make.
- Do not sign any legal paperwork unless told to by an attorney.
- Do not take any drug tests unless court mandated (some children have been removed from homes because the parents smoke pot).
- Most of all: Do not assume that if you tell them everything that they’ll be “nice to you.”

Foster Care in the United States has deteriorated into one of our nation’s most shameful episodes in our history. Recently, the United States Secretary of State, provided the yearly “Trafficking in Persons Report”.

Human trafficking is only possible when people and the governments of each nation and state take a neutral, passive, or half a$$ attempt to curtail it and to stop it.
Unlike the nation’s war on drugs; our nation must seriously “Go to War” against the trafficking of human beings, especially the children.
So far states like Arizona have reaped the financial rewards of a corrupt system of “Kiddie Kourts” with questionably competent judges, attorneys, guardian ad litems, scared Department of Child Safety (CPS) case managers and supervisors and so called expert witnesses that would never, ever be allowed in the adult criminal justice system.
All held up by the Arizona Attorney General’s Office with a win at all cost culture that takes innocent children from innocent parents and families as well as deaf, speechless, and scared state legislators.
The United States Secretary of State, Michael R. Pompeo reports that the United States is a Tier 1 nation, one of the worst. The U.S. providing 50 to 60% of those trafficked from foster care. Then consider that child advocates across the country report that Arizona is one of the worst if not the worst in the United States for foster children being human trafficked.
Over the last year I have “surveyed” individuals associated with our nation and Arizona to at least start to expose what the general public does not know.
I bring 45 years of experience and interacting with every single Arizona system that could possibly touch the life of a child and their family. I literally wrote the book on Child & Family Advocacy, wrote the curriculum on Child & Family Advocacy, and taught it for 17 years in the community colleges in Arizona.
My hope is that the simple data collected from parents, professionals, and adults who suffered Arizona’s foster care system, Parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles, cousins and in laws; to at least admit the current status is corrupted, stop the bleeding of families, and wage a war that our children have needed for 45 years.
The enemies of change anchored into a dysfunctional system will attack me, will attack this collected data, will attack the families and individual stories, but they cannot attack the truth of the families that had the courage to never give up their children and completed this survey.
The survey was completed over “google survey” and the data organized as originally entered without change.
Anonymity is a cornerstone of truth necessary for some individuals to complete the survey that could face significant retaliation if identified.
